Bolt-on performance for 1990-1998 R129 Mercedes 500SL / SL500. This kit only fits M119 engines, does not fit M113 engines from 1999-2002.
This system features a LUFTKRAFT custom 2-1 collector that mounts directly to the factory MAF sensor or Air/Fuel Meter (KE). This custom collector allows us to run dual 3” pipes all the way to the MAF while maintaining clearance from the hood. It also shapes the airflow to the same dimensions as the MAF and reduces turbulence over the factory intake plenum.
All of our intake systems include genuine AFE Power MagnumFlow air filters for the absolute best in filtration for your beloved Benz. These custom air filters provide almost double the surface area over the factory filters in a more compact & efficient design. These are dry element filters. No oil to damage expensive MAF sensors. Clean, rinse, dry, and reuse every 10k miles.
Every aspect is an improvement upon the factory intake system, carefully designed for maximum performance without sacrificing reliability. Bolt-on installation for R129’s.
